It is 1984, political and social change is sweeping through Britain and the last labour battle is soon to usher in a new economic order. Roland Cauldron, a causality of previous recessions, counts himself lucky to be starting a career as a student psychiatric nurse, living and training in an old asylum located on the outskirts of London.
