Documentary about the making of the 'Grey Gardens' (1975) documentary film. 'Grey Gardens' focused on an eccentric mother and daughter living together in East Hampton, New York. Having previously lived as wealthy upper-class socialities, Edith Ewing Bouvier Beale also known as Big Edie and her daughter Edith Bouvier Beale, Little Edie, spend their days in their house named Grey Gardens.

Previously unseen footage captures Andy Warhol, sister of Jackie Onassis Lee Radziwill and artist Peter Beard as they capture the ladies' finest moments in their quirky home.
