Invitation to Explore the Viaducts of Our Minds
America during the seventies as portrayed by Wes Craven, Peter Watkins, Hubert Selby, Jr., Philip K. Dick, Gustav Hasford and George A. Romeo is analyzed. The rhetorical device allegory, Barthes's concept of mythology and Foucault's concept of power relations are utilized in order to expose a discussion of the body under siege.
