The 1953 FA Cup Final between Blackpool and Bolton Wanderers had everything: seven goals, a dramatic comeback and, in Stanley Matthews, a fairytale hero. The match came to represent a post-war golden age; but change was coming in the shape of television, consumerism and a new monarch. And soon football, too, would never be the same again.
